Terberg Taylor Americas (TTA) announced the appointment of Randy Wingenroth as Executive Vice President, effective immediately. In this role, Wingenroth will lead operations across the Western Hemisphere and serve as the senior executive overseeing Terberg Taylor Americas Group (TTAG), a joint venture comprising four entities focused on terminal tractor sales, aftermarket services, rental solutions, and manufacturing.
As Executive Vice President, Wingenroth is responsible for driving TTAG’s long term growth strategy and establishing the organization as the market leader in terminal tractors throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America. He will lead the company through a transition which includes diesel-powered equipment, electric vehicles and autonomous vehicle platforms, as well as the expansion of local sourcing and manufacturing to better support regional market needs.
“Randy is a proven leader with deep operational, commercial, and manufacturing expertise, and we are excited to have him step into this role,” said Robert Taylor, Sr., President and COO of Terberg Taylor Americas. “His experience building organizations, localizing production, and leading teams through complex market transitions makes him uniquely qualified to lead Terberg Taylor Americas. Randy understands our business, our customers, and our culture, and he will play a critical role in shaping our future growth across the Americas."
“At Terberg, we have a global growth strategy. The Americas is a very important growth area for both families -Taylor and Terberg. We are confident that Randy will play a prominent role in accelerating our next phase of growth. The joint venture will keep on investing in local diesel, electric, automated, and regionally sourced vehicle platforms. Randy’s leadership will help ensure that Terberg Taylor Americas delivers the innovation, quality, and reliability customers expect,” said Rob van Hove, CEO of Terberg Special Vehicles Division. “His deep terminal tractor industry knowledge and proven ability to build high‑performing organizations make him the right fit for Terberg Taylor Americas.”
Wingenroth brings more than 30 years of experience in the material handling and industrial vehicle industry. He began his career in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic before earning an engineering degree from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. He entered the material handling industry in 1994, holding a variety of leadership roles with Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Americas in Houston over a ten‑year period.
He was later recruited by Kalmar to establish and grow its U.S. operations, where he built a new organization in San Antonio, localized product offerings for the North American market, and led the development of a manufacturing facility. Wingenroth spent 12 years with Kalmar before global manufacturing was consolidated to Poland. He subsequently joined Palfinger, where he led the Americas region, before returning to Kalmar to once again run the Americas business for five years.
Wingenroth joined Taylor Machine Works, Inc. most recently, spending the past year managing operations across the state of Texas, bringing with him decades of experience in production, sales, aftermarket operations, and organizational leadership.
In his new role, Wingenroth will oversee integrated sales, rental, and after-sales organizations to maximize installed base growth and factory utilization, particularly in the United States. He will also guide TTAG’s Mississippi-based manufacturing operations, scaling production of EV and BABA-compliant models while advancing sourcing and procurement.
A central focus of his leadership will include improving financial performance through cost optimization, margin improvement, working capital discipline, and manufacturing efficiency. He will also build and mentor a high-performing management team and keep strong relationships with TTAG’s family-owned shareholder partners.
Outside of work, Wingenroth is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and an avid golfer.
