Change in the board at the Royal Terberg Group

George Terberg (right), the current Chairman of the Board of Management of the Royal Terberg Group, will hand over the chairmanship to his cousin Godfried Terberg (left) on 1 October 2021.


The Royal Terberg Group is a fifth generation family business. After working for the company for almost 45 years, George Terberg (68), the current Chairman of the Board of Management, will hand over the chairmanship to his cousin Godfried Terberg (58) on 1 October 2021.

Godfried Terberg: "George brought the group to another level. I am proud to succeed him. I want to keep the good and further implement necessary changes to be able to withstand these times of global developments, such as sustainability, electrification and digitisation. Innovation and sustainability are in our DNA. Because we always feel responsible for the next generations, we have been successful for 152 years. Now is the time to prepare the group for a sustainable future, for the good of our planet."

Godfried has been Vice-chairman of the Royal Terberg Group for the past ten years and also has operational responsibility for the Environmental division.

Rob van Hove, who has operational responsibility for the Special vehicles division, will join the Board. After retiring from the Board of Management George Terberg will join the Supervisory Board of the Group.

Royal Terberg Group is an automotive business with subsidiaries in 12 countries. In 2020 the Group had 3000 employees and revenues exceeding 1 billion euros.

Rob van Hove, who has operational responsibility for the Special Vehicles Division, will join the Board of Royal Terberg Group.
