Next Gen Electric

Terberg will present an update on the successful deployment of 20 electric terminal tractors at DP World’s Callao terminal in Peru early 2024—the first large-scale implementation of its kind in South America. These YT203EV models, each equipped with a 236 kWh battery, have been operating 15–20 hours per day, averaging 12 hours on a single charge. This EV fleet deployment is a key step in DP World Callao’s goal to become carbon neutral by 2030.

TOC Tech Talk: Automation in Action

On Wednesday, June 18 at 16:15, Terberg will participate in the TOC Tech Talk session titled “Automation in Action.” Alongside APM Terminals Maasvlakte II (MVII) and Embotech AG, Terberg will delve into the groundbreaking project announced earlier this year, which involves the supply and full implementation of 30 automated electric terminal tractors (ATTs) at APM Terminals MVII in Rotterdam. The new fleet is expected to enter service in the first quarter of 2027. This project represents a significant step forward in the integration of automated technology within port logistics.
