Terberg Special Vehicles is pleased to announce the acquisition of KCL Lifttrucks Ltd., a well-established provider of material handling and port equipment solutions with sales in assigned territories across Asia Pacific. KCL Lifttrucks with headquarters in Hong Kong has been a distributor of Terberg terminal tractors since 2019. The company will operate under the name Terberg KCL and will work closely with Terberg Tractors Malaysia (JV between the Royal Terberg Group and Sime Darby) to strengthen Terberg’s sales and service operations in the APAC region.
Terberg expands APAC presence with acquisition of KCL Lifttrucks
This acquisition aligns with Terberg’s ambition to provide optimal local operational support to its customers and to bring its innovative sustainable, and tailor-made solutions closer to customers.
Terberg KCL will offer the entire Terberg Special Vehicles product portfolio in the assigned territories across Asia Pacific providing customers access to high-performance, low-emission, and future-ready equipment. As the first company in Asia to champion a full range of electric horizontal transport solutions for container terminals, Terberg KCL plays a vital role in leading the shift toward greener logistics infrastructure.
