Terberg and Cory Group, Driving Sustainability and Innovation

At Cory Group's riverside facility in London, Terberg Special Vehicles play a vital role in keeping operations running efficiently around the clock. With a growing fleet of YT223 tractors and Seacom tipping trailers, containers move seamlessly between the jetty and the waste bunker, ensuring smooth, reliable, and uninterrupted logistics.

Scott Stevens, Jetty and site manager "We had been using roadgoing tipping trailers but we were looking for something more industrial and long-lasting. So we spoke with Terberg who put us in touch with Seacom. We worked together to create a much better package than we had running. It makes loading and unloading easier for the operators and hopefully we get a longer lifespan."

Terberg's partnership with Cory spans nearly two decades. Working closely together, Terberg developed a bespoke hydraulic system and adapted the YT223’s wheelbase to handle the tight spaces of the Thames jetty. In partnership with Seacom Trailer Systems, Terberg also engineered more durable trailers designed for longer service life and ease of operation.

At Terberg, our commitment extends beyond supply. We provide 24/7, 365-day maintenance support, ensuring both tractors and trailers are kept to the highest manufacturer standards. Looking ahead, the introduction of Terberg’s fully electric terminal tractor marks the next step in this partnership, helping Cory advance its Net Zero ambitions without compromising on power or performance.
